What you should know
In anticipation of our reopening next Tuesday, we have carefully considered how we will provide the safest environment for you and our staff. We will continue to offer limited-contact curbside service and supply pickups by appointment. Should you need to be seen in person, we have implemented several new protocols to keep us all safe.
Before you are seen in one of our offices, we will screen you with a questionnaire to ensure you are symptom-free and have not been exposed to any individuals with known or suspected COVID-19 symptoms
We will regularly take staff and patient temperatures with a touch-free infrared thermometer
Clinicians will wear gloves and masks for all contact with patients, as well as face shields as necessary for certain procedures
We will provide patients with masks, if they do not have their own
Our traditional otoscopes have been replaced with digital ones in order to distance the providers from our patients during ear examinations
Sanitizing and disinfection will be performed prior to and in between patient care visits
Glass enclosures have been placed around our reception desks
We have restructured our waiting rooms and appointment times to maintain adequate social distancing – patients will wait in their cars until we are ready to bring you in
The number of patients inside the office will be limited to a maximum of two; with staggered appointment times so that no one is arriving or departing at the same time
We have replaced our fabric chairs with chairs that are antimicrobial and able to be thoroughly disinfected
Due to the proximity restraints of our sound booths, hearing testing will be performed only when deemed essential for medical and amplification-related issues
We miss seeing you, and hope you are staying safe and healthy.
